Day
2 : Delhi - Agra
After
breakfast, we travel from Delhi to Agra,
by road. The distance of approximately 250
km, is covered in around 6 hours.
Arrive in Agra at noon and check into the
hotel.
In
the evening we will take the battery operated
bus to the world famous Taj Mahal.
Built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan,
in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal, who
died in 1631, this marble mausoleum is situated
near the river Yamuna and contains the tombs
of both Shah Jahan and Mumtaz Mahal. It
is regarded as a monument to everlasting
love.

Agra.

3 : Agra - Jaipur
In
the morning, after breakfast, we travel
from Agra to Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan,
India, by road. The distance of approximately
221 km, is covered in 5 hours.
Arrive in Jaipur at noon. Check into your
hotel and relax. In the evening you can
go shopping or explore the city of Jaipur.
Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight
stay.

4 : Jaipur
Enjoy
your breakfast at the hotel. We then proceed
to Amber Fort for a day's excursion.
At the foot of the hill leading to Amber
Fort, you will climb onto an elephant and
enter the fort in royal style on elephant
back. Inside Amber Fort, you will see palaces,
gardens, historic weapons and a grand view
of the lake and the city of Jaipur.
Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight
stay.

5 : Jaipur - Udaipur
In
the morning, after breakfast, we travel
from Jaipur to Udaipur, in Rajasthan, India,
by road. The distance of approximately 300
km, is covered in around 7 hours.
Check
into your hotel and relax. In the evening
you can explore the city of Udaipur, which
was ruled by the Sisodia dynasty for over
1200 years.
Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight
stay.

6 : Udaipur
Breakfast
at hotel. Proceed for sightseeing tour of
Udaipur, stopping first at the City Palace.
Also visit the lovely Sahelion-ki-Bari Gardens,
the Jagdish Temple and the local folk Museum.
Overnight at Udaipur.

7 : Udaipur - Jodhpur
In
the morning, after breakfast, we travel
from Udaipur to Jodhpur, in Rajasthan, India,
by road. The distance of approximately 260
km, is covered in around 6 hours.
Enroute
visit the Ranakpur Temples, which
date back to the 15th Century. Its 29 halls
are supported by 200 unique pillars. No
two pillars are alike. Check into your hotel
and relax. In the evening, visit the Umaid
Bhawan Palace and museum.
Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight
stay.

8 : Jodhpur
Morning
go for a village safari in the jeep and
have a rare glimpse into the rich culture
and true essence of India.
Afternoon sightseeing tour of Jodhpur -
gateway to the desert beyond, home of the
Rathors of Marwar, visit the Mehrangarh
Fort, rising up a hilly scarp, built
on the advice of a hermit, overlooking the
city in the image of a long sentinel. Overnight
at Jodhpur.

9 : Jodhpur - Jaisalmer
In
the morning, after breakfast, we travel
from Jodhpur to Jaisalmer, in Rajasthan,
India, by road. The distance of approximately
300 km is covered in around 5 hours.
Rising
from the heart of the Thar Desert
like a golden mirage is the city of Jaisalmer.
A commanding fort etched in yellow sandstone
stands, with its awesome splendor, dominating
the amber-hued city. Check into your hotel

10 : Jaisalmer
After
a relaxed breakfast proceed for full day
sightseeing tour of The Golden City - Jaisalmer.
It is in the heart of the Great Indian Desert.
See the Patwon-Ki-Havelies, Salim-Singh-Ki-Haveli
and Gandhi Sagar Tank. Also visit Barabagh
Hill. Stay overnight at the Swiss Tent
Camp.

11 : Jaisalmer - Bikaner
In
the morning, after breakfast, we travel
from Jaisalmer to Bikaner, in Rajasthan,
India, by road. The distance of approximately
330 km is covered in around 7 hours.
Bikaner
- the royal fortified city with a timeless
appeal, lies in the north of the Desert
State. The city is dotted with many sand
dunes and retains the medieval splendor
that pervades the city's lifestyle. Check

at Bikaner.
Day
12 : Bikaner - Mandawa
Enjoy
your breakfast and then proceed on a sightseeing
tour of Bikaner. Rao Bikaji, a descendant
of Jodhaji - the founder of Jodhpur, founded
this desert town in the North of Rajasthan
in 1488. Visit the Junagarh Fort, constructed
between 1588 and 1593 by Raja Jai Singh,
a general in the Mughal Emperor Akbar's
army. Also see the Karni Mata Temple where
rats are worshipped and the Camel Breeding
Farm in Bikaner.
Travel
from Bikaner to Mandawa, in Rajasthan, India,
by road. The distance of approximately 140
km is covered in around 3 hours. Reach and
check in at the hotel. Stay overnight at
Mandawa.
Day
13 : Mandawa - Delhi
After
breakfast, tour the painted havelis of Mandawa.
The walls of these unoccupied mansions of
business families are decorated with beautiful
paintings. Also visit Mahensar and Dundlod
and meet the local village chief.

distance of approximately 260 km is covered
in around 5 hours.

Day
14 : Delhi - Home
You
will be picked up from your hotel to travel
on a full-day tour of Old & New Delhi.
In
Old Delhi you will see the Red Fort, an
impressive sandstone monument built in red
sandstone by the Emperor Shah Jahan, the
Jama Masjid - one of the largest mosques
in India; enjoy a rickshaw ride in Chandni
Chowk - a historic market street; also see
Raj Ghat - the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi,
Humayun's Tomb and the Qutab Minar.
In
New Delhi you will see Rashtrapati Bhawan
- the President's mansion, Parliament House,
India Gate, The Bahai (Lotus) Temple and
shopping arcades in New Delhi.
Proceed
for the Dances of India Show in the
evening at 1800 hrs after checking out of
the hotel. After the show you will have
a Farewell Dinner then transfer to
the airport for the flight home, at the
end of your Heritage Tour of Rajasthan.
